Game story
Hello Neighbor 2 is a stealth, horror and survival adventure game that takes place after the events of the first game, where Mr. Peterson mysteriously disappears. You try to uncover the truth about his disappearance - only to discover something far more sinister. The big and terrifying shadow man is back and continues to haunt you. Using a sophisticated self-learning AI, your enemies will monitor and adapt your every move. It is your mission to outsmart the pursuers before it's too late.
Hello Neighbor 2 introduces a new main character named Quinten. He's a local journalist investigating Raven Brooks, the neighborhood where people disappear without a trace. You're on a dying path to find out what happened to Mr. Peterson, the original antagonist of the first game. The chain of clues leads you to his house, which is more dilapidated and darker than before.
While this sequel is not directly related to the first installment, knowing what happened will give you an advantage. The final act of Hello Neighbor showed Mr. Peterson locking himself in a room as he feels guilty; His wife and daughter died in two tragic accidents. In desperation, he keeps his son in the cellar where he believes he is safe. The game's previous protagonist, Nicki, will not affect the sequel's story.
