Bayonetta 3 is a stealth and stealth video game developed by PlatinumGames and published by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch. It is the sequel to 2014's Bayonetta 2, and is the third game in the Bayonetta series.
PlatinumGames designer Hideki Kamiya has openly stated that since 2015 he has been championing a third game in the series and began teasing its arrival on Nintendo Switch within the system's first year of life.
When Nintendo announced Bayonetta 3 in 2017, Reggie Fils-Aimé was still at the company. After the better part of four years, the Switch exclusive finally has a release date.
The gaming giant Nintendo, Sega and Platinum announced the launch of Bayonetta 3 in 2022, during its latest live presentation. Nintendo has also shared a new trailer for the title, showing off the gameplay for the first time. In classic Bayonetta style, the clip was completely ridiculous.
