Few games take place in Tokyo, which I consider one of my favorite cities. I can only say this is why I'm so excited about Ghostwire: Tokyo, but then I'm not going to be fair, Tango Gameworks is the same studio behind the ingenious The Evil Within series that has made a difference in horror games in general.
Ghostwire: Tokyo, one of the biggest and most awaited titles of 2022, is a story game from the player's perspective in the genre of action and sci-fi mixed with a little horror. Published by Bethesda Softworks, and developed by Tango Gameworks, Japan. Ghostwire: Tokyo is one of my most anticipated games to be released personally as the teaser teasers show off the potential for this experience, and that excitement was heightened after I watched a full half hour of gameplay at a media event last month after several delays. Was my excitement and waiting time crowned with a happy ending like in Disney movies, or was it a frustrating ending like the last seasons of Game of Thrones?

Game story
In a routine evening in the bustling and modern streets of Tokyo, specifically at the famous (Shibuya) intersection amidst crowds of citizens and tourists, everyone begins to disappear and vanish suddenly while their souls are taken from them in light of the heavy fog that kills everyone who enters its surroundings, and frightening creatures appear with a form Humans who are not one of them, their faces erased or their heads removed, holding umbrellas as they walk in a frighteningly slow manner, then gradually begin to run towards people to devour their souls.
Here the hero of our story (Akito) wakes up and sees the disaster that befell everyone and caused the disappearance of everyone in the city, only to discover that he has returned to life again after being possessed by the spirit of a person called (Kai Kai), a professional hunter, who begins to speak to him in the form of a voice in his head, Akito resists him, but to no avail when he realizes that (Kai Kai) provides him with supernatural abilities that help him survive and fight those creatures called (visitors), to form a relationship that reminds me of the one between (Johnny Silverhand) and (V) from Cyberpunk 2077.
It turns out that Kai Kai's supernatural abilities originate from the underworld and that he knows what is going on, and that behind this disaster is a mysterious person named (Hanya), who seeks to break the barrier between our world and the world of the dead. Here, Kai Kai guides Akito to enhance his powers and acquire more skills to prepare him to eliminate Hanya, especially after Akito learns that Hanya kidnapped his sister, who seems essential to him in achieving his quest. Will they succeed in their mission and overcome the odds in the haunted city of Tokyo to find and eliminate (Hanya)? Will they uncover the identity of this Hania and learn his true motives while accepting each other?

How to install and download GAMESOIO PC games?
