Game story
Jess. The girl who suffers from hallucinations and psychological problems. due to the death of her younger sister by drowning. And her friend Kim tries to help her. Kim invited her friend Jess to Glory Island to join a spiritual group that claims to exploit the spiritual energy within each person to help him overcome his trauma and psychological problems. Jess accepted the invitation, and here begins the events of The Chant on Glory Island.
After the first hour of playing, you will find that the story is vague without features. The Chant is a story-only game with no other modes. In which the player controls the character of Jess in a linear path, the game does not have any open world elements or side missions.
The game consists of approximately 5 chapters if we break it down in terms of missions. In each mission you launch from the main camp with a specific objective. Most of the time in the game you are going from point A to point B. During your journey, you will pass through several deserted places on the island and face the dangers of monsters that will meet you.

The puzzles in The Chant don't hold genius ideas. Most of them boil down to assembling the parts of a piece to open the door. As for the puzzles that require thinking, they were very rare. They consisted of two puzzles, no more.Therefore, it can be said that the game has focused entirely on presenting the story and battles.
The battles in the game are through manual payment. Which represents the player's emergency weapon when running out of resources. It deals little damage to enemies. It can be divided into two types.

The Chant's skill tree is built around the three main elements of a character. Body, soul and mind. Special abilities the player gains with each mission he completes. The player needs to take care of developing the spirit index and collecting the herbs required to fill it in order to freely enjoy these abilities and be able to try them all.
